Pharma DSP Picker
Three questions, one directional platform recommendation. Built from the same evaluation criteria I use when choosing a demand-side platform for an HCP or DTC pharma campaign.
Which DSP fits your pharma campaign?
A shortcut version of the platform evaluations I run for real. Three questions, one directional recommendation, and the full reasoning lives in my DSP comparison deep dive.
What this tool is actually weighing
Platform selection in pharma is not a features bake-off. Three things decide it, and this picker weighs the same three: whether your primary audience is prescribers or patients, whether your targeting has to be deterministic at the NPI level or can be modeled, and which measurement partner your brand team has already committed to. Everything else, from interface quality to service model, matters at the margin.
The recommendation is directional, not a decision. It will not know that your client has an existing master services agreement, that a platform already failed a security review, or that your measurement partner has a preferred integration. Those are the details that decide a real platform choice, and they are the ones worth walking through before anything gets signed.
Where the full reasoning lives
- DeepIntent vs IQVIA vs PulsePoint for Pharma, the full side-by-side.
- HCP targeting best practices, on NPI match rates and target list hygiene.
- Pharma programmatic measurement, on tying platform choice to Rx outcomes.
- Pharma programmatic benchmarks, for the planning numbers behind the recommendation.
- Portfolio pacing dashboard demo, for what happens after the platform is live.

Working through a real platform decision?
I have run platform evaluations and two live DSP migrations for pharma portfolios. Happy to pressure-test a shortlist against your measurement setup.
